  25. If the bumps are quite pronounced, you may want to model them.  SMOOTH SHIFT is your buddy!
  26. Oh, don't forget the friendly Mr. Bevel :).

  28. Bump maps don't show the bump if you are at an angle and models do.  i.e. if you were to make a 
  29. plane and assign a bump map of Pamela Anderson, it would not be as "bumpy" as having a 3d modeled 
  30. Pam and viewing it.  Bad analogy...sorry.  But I think you get the idea.
